'...a holistic approach to promoting continuous improvement and effective performance...'

What is performance Management?
Performance management refers to the process for encouraging all individuals and teams within an organisation to maintain and improve their contribution, to develop their abilities, and to achieve their full potential for the benefit of themselves and for the organisation as a whole.
It is a holistic approach to promoting continuous improvement and effective performance.
It aims to integrate and link an organisation’s strategic goals to performance improvement plans and targets, and to the continuous development of individuals and teams.
In order for performance management to work effectively, experience has shown that individuals and teams should:
- Have a clear understanding of what is expected of them
- Be given feedback on their performance at appropriate and regular intervals via a suitable means of discussion and assessment
- Have the skills, attitude and ability to work to established standards and be supported in the identification and development of those attributes
- Have the opportunity to discuss and contribute to individual and team aims and objectives wherever possible.
How can we help?
Support can be provided in:
- Facilitating the process of specifying and cascading down plans, objectives and measures to teams and individuals
- Reviewing the effectiveness of your current performance review processes and appraisal system
- Developing and agreeing improvements
- Communicating agreed changes to stakeholders
- Training or briefing both appraisers and appraisees in the application of new or revised performance review processes and in the development of relevant skills.
